EVENT TERMS
Effective Date: October 2, 2026
These Event Terms apply to events, private dinners, tastings, hospitality experiences, cultural programming, and other in-person or virtual experiences sold, hosted, produced, or expressly governed by The High Taste (“High Taste,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and any event-specific terms shown on the applicable event page or checkout.
If event-specific terms conflict with these general Event Terms, the more specific event terms control.
1. Event Details
Before purchasing or registering for an event, please review the applicable event page for:
event date and time;
venue or location;
ticket price;
age requirements;
included experiences;
accessibility information;
transfer terms;
dress code or participation requirements, if any; and
other material event conditions.
Event details vary by event.
2. Tickets and Registration
A ticket or registration provides only the admission, programming, tastings, food, materials, or other benefits expressly described for that ticket type.
A purchase is not complete until the applicable payment or registration process has been successfully completed.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information so High Taste can communicate material event updates.
3. Age Requirement
Unless an event page expressly states otherwise, High Taste events involving wine, alcohol service, or alcohol-focused programming are restricted to guests 21 years of age or older.
Valid government-issued photo identification may be required for admission or alcohol service.
A guest who cannot verify age where required may be refused admission or alcohol service.
4. Alcohol Service
Alcohol consumption is optional.
High Taste, participating venues, wineries, restaurants, caterers, or other authorized service providers may refuse or discontinue alcohol service where required or permitted by law.
Guests are expected to consume responsibly.
High Taste does not encourage excessive alcohol consumption.
5. Event Tickets Are Final Sale
Unless expressly stated otherwise on the applicable event page, all High Taste ticket sales are final and nonrefundable.
A purchaser’s inability to attend does not create a right to a refund.
This includes circumstances such as:
schedule conflicts;
illness;
travel disruption affecting the attendee;
change of plans;
failure to attend;
failure to meet age requirements; or
other personal circumstances.
Nothing in this section removes any right that applicable law does not permit us to waive.
6. Ticket Transfers
Tickets may be transferred to another eligible attendee unless the event page expressly states otherwise.
The replacement attendee must meet all participation requirements, including any applicable 21+ age restriction.
High Taste may require updated attendee information before recognizing a transfer.
A transfer does not create a refund right.
Unauthorized commercial resale, ticket counterfeiting, duplication, or use of tickets in unauthorized promotions is prohibited.
7. Event Cancellation by High Taste
If High Taste cancels an event and does not reschedule it, ticket holders will receive the refund or other remedy required by applicable law.
High Taste may communicate cancellation information using the contact details associated with the purchase.
8. Event Postponement or Rescheduling
If an event is postponed or rescheduled, High Taste will provide information about the new date and any available attendance, transfer, credit, or other options.
A rescheduled event is not automatically treated as a canceled event unless required by law or expressly stated by High Taste.
9. Event Changes
High Taste may make reasonable changes to event details where necessary.
Changes may include:
chefs;
wineries;
wines;
menus;
speakers;
performers;
artists;
venues;
participating brands;
sponsors;
collaborators;
programming;
schedules; or
other event components.
A change to one or more individual event elements does not automatically constitute cancellation of the event and does not automatically create a refund right.
10. Partner and Collaborative Events
High Taste may produce or host events independently or in collaboration with third-party:
brands;
restaurants;
venues;
wineries;
chefs;
artists;
sponsors;
producers;
vendors; or
other collaborators.
These parties may remain independently responsible for their own products, services, statements, conduct, and legal obligations.
Use of terms such as “partner,” “collaborator,” “presented with,” or “sponsor” does not necessarily create a legal partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, or agency relationship.
11. Weather and Circumstances Beyond Reasonable Control
High Taste may modify, delay, relocate, postpone, or cancel an event because of circumstances outside its reasonable control, including:
severe weather;
natural disasters;
governmental actions;
venue emergencies;
public-safety concerns;
transportation disruption;
power or utility failures;
labor disruptions;
public-health conditions;
essential participant emergencies; or
other similar unforeseen circumstances.
Any remedy will be handled according to the applicable event terms and law.
12. Conduct
Guests must behave in a lawful, respectful, and reasonably safe manner.
High Taste or the applicable venue may refuse admission to or remove a guest for conduct including:
threats or violence;
harassment;
discriminatory abuse;
unlawful activity;
severe disruption;
unsafe intoxication;
damage to property;
refusal to comply with reasonable safety instructions; or
conduct creating a genuine risk to guests, staff, participants, or property.
Removal for misconduct does not automatically create a right to a refund.
13. Venue Rules
Guests must comply with reasonable rules established by the applicable venue.
Venue requirements may concern:
identification;
security screening;
bags;
prohibited items;
photography;
smoking;
alcohol;
entry and re-entry;
health and safety; or
other operational matters.
Venue requirements may change where reasonably necessary.
14. Food, Beverage, Allergies, and Dietary Needs
High Taste events may involve food and beverage service.
Menus, ingredients, preparation methods, producers, and participating vendors may change.
If you have a serious food allergy, dietary restriction, or other food-related concern, contact High Taste before the event where reasonably possible.
High Taste will make reasonable efforts to communicate or accommodate known dietary needs where practicable but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment unless expressly stated.
Guests with serious allergies should make participation decisions appropriate to their individual circumstances.
15. Wine Selections
Wine selections may vary because of availability, vintage changes, producer inventory, shipping, venue limitations, or other operational reasons.
Substitutions may be made where reasonably necessary.
A particular bottle, producer, vintage, or wine selection is not guaranteed unless the applicable event page expressly states otherwise.
16. Photography, Video, and Recording
High Taste events may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded for:
editorial use;
archival use;
marketing;
social media;
promotional content;
educational content; or
other High Taste communications.
General event, crowd, atmosphere, stage, dining, and programming documentation may incidentally include attendees.
Where an identifiable attendee is intentionally featured for broader commercial or promotional use and separate permission is legally required or appropriate, High Taste may request additional authorization.
If you have a significant privacy, safety, or accessibility concern regarding photography or recording, contact High Taste before the event where reasonably possible.
17. Attendee Photography and Recording
High Taste may restrict attendee photography, filming, audio recording, livestreaming, or professional equipment for particular events.
Any restrictions will be communicated where reasonably practicable.
Guests may not use event recordings or images to:
commercially exploit High Taste programming;
reproduce protected presentations or performances;
violate another person's privacy;
interfere with event operations; or
infringe intellectual-property rights.
18. Accessibility
High Taste aims to make events reasonably accessible where practicable.
Guests who require an accessibility accommodation should contact High Taste as early as reasonably possible before the event.
Please identify the event and the accommodation or access need.
High Taste will make reasonable efforts to address accessibility requests, subject to venue limitations, event format, available resources, and applicable law.
19. Personal Property
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings.
To the extent permitted by law, High Taste is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged personal property except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
20. Health and Safety
Guests participate in events subject to ordinary risks associated with travel, public gatherings, food and beverage service, and event activities.
Guests should follow posted safety instructions and reasonable directions from High Taste staff, venue personnel, and authorized service providers.
If an event includes an activity with material risks beyond ordinary event participation, separate participation or waiver terms may apply.
21. Transportation
Unless expressly included in the ticket description, guests are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the event.
High Taste does not encourage drinking and driving.
Guests who consume alcohol are responsible for arranging safe and lawful transportation.
22. Marketing and Event Communications
Purchasing or attending an event does not automatically enroll a guest in unrelated marketing communications where separate consent is required.
High Taste may still send transactional communications reasonably necessary to administer the event, including:
confirmations;
venue information;
schedule changes;
cancellation notices;
transfer information; and
safety updates.
Optional email or SMS marketing enrollment is handled separately.
23. Sponsor and Partner Data Collection
High Taste does not automatically provide attendee email addresses, telephone numbers, or similar contact information to event sponsors or collaborators for their own direct marketing.
If a guest voluntarily provides information directly to a sponsor, partner, vendor, or third party, that third party’s privacy practices may apply.
24. Intellectual Property
Event materials, presentations, publications, recordings, written materials, graphics, photographs, branding, educational content, and other protected works remain the property of High Taste or the applicable rights holder.
Purchasing a ticket does not grant permission to:
reproduce event content;
sell or redistribute event materials;
rebroadcast programming;
commercially exploit recordings; or
create unauthorized derivative works.
25. Third-Party Participants
Chefs, wineries, venues, sponsors, brands, artists, restaurants, speakers, vendors, and other event participants may be independent third parties.
High Taste does not guarantee the conduct, products, services, or representations of an independent third party except to the extent High Taste expressly assumes responsibility or applicable law provides otherwise.
26. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, High Taste and its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising solely from ordinary participation in an event.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Nothing in these Event Terms removes any mandatory consumer right or remedy.
27. Governing Law
These Event Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
